Philosophy
We strive to develop the emotional, physical, cognitive, social and spiritual needs of children through a stimulating and interesting learning program.
Our philosophy is based on the belief that all children have a desire to be loved and respected, to learn and to be a contributor to the well-being of others. We attempt to provide a relaxed atmosphere in which the children have freedom of choice whenever possible. We encourage the children to develop independence, respect for themselves as well as others and to respect their environment.

More about us
Kiddie Sunshine Centre is a non-profit, licensed, Early Childhood Education facility located in Altona that was established in 1983.
Currently the centre serves over 160 families in Altona and the surrounding area, and with the facility expansion underway we will be able to serve many more.
Our original Centre Ave. location amalgamated with the Rhineland Childcare Centre on January 1st, 2022 and has a combined total of 69 licensed childcare spaces for children 0 - 12 years old.
The centre is open year round and provides daycare, nursery school, and before and after school care services
